Online ADHD and ASD Assessment Services – below is an outline of the three services we provide at NZ Psychology Clinic. You are welcome to access more than one service.
ADHD Assessments
ADHD assessments at our clinic are comprehensive, evidence-based, and conducted by a registered Clinical Psychologist. The process begins with an online video consultation lasting 1.5–2 hours. Prior to the interview, you will receive an email containing links to a consent form, ADHD-specific assessment tools, a general mental health screening, and a brief background questionnaire. These empirically validated tools, combined with the clinical interview, provide the Psychologist with a detailed understanding of your symptoms, history, and functioning.
Based on this information, the Psychologist will determine whether diagnostic criteria for ADHD are met. Following the assessment, you will receive an official psychological report. This report is a thorough document that explains the rationale behind the diagnosis and includes key findings from the interview and assessments. Official diagnostic reports are often required by medical professionals, educational institutions, or support services as part of their eligibility criteria. However, it is important to note that receiving a diagnosis does not guarantee access to these services, as decisions are made by the respective organisations.
Our assessment process adheres to the highest standards of clinical practice, ensuring reliable and valid evaluations tailored to your unique needs.

Autism Spectrum Disorder Assessments
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) assessments at our clinic are thorough, evidence-based, and conducted by a registered Clinical Psychologist. The process includes an online video consultation lasting 1.5–2 hours. Before the consultation, you will receive an email with links to a consent form, ASD-specific assessment tools, a general mental health screening, and a brief background questionnaire. These standardised and empirically validated tools, combined with the clinical interview, provide the Psychologist with a comprehensive understanding of your symptoms, history, and overall functioning.
Using this information, the Psychologist will evaluate whether the diagnostic criteria for ASD are met. Following the assessment, you will be provided with an official psychological report. This detailed report explains the basis of the diagnostic decision and summarises findings from the interview and assessments. Official diagnostic reports are often required to access support services or accommodations from educational institutions, healthcare providers, or other organisations. However, it is important to note that a diagnosis does not guarantee eligibility for external services, as these decisions are made by the respective providers.
Our assessment process follows the highest clinical standards, ensuring accurate, professional, and personalised evaluations tailored to your needs.
